History

In 2009, JUBECO was founded by Oliver Jucknath and his longtime friend Felix Becker. The goal was to consolidate decades of IT expertise gained as freelancers in order to advise companies in the security sector.

In 2013, Felix Becker stepped down from his role as co-managing director to focus more on his work as a programmer and IT architect. In 2019, Paul Jucknath, the son of Oliver Jucknath, took the role of the company’s second CEO. Since then, JUBECO GmbH has been managed as a father-and-son team - with Oliver Jucknath primarily responsible for consulting and training, while Paul Jucknath focuses on pentesting.

The combination of two generations has proven to be particularly successful, blending decades of experience with state-of-the-art, bleeding edge know-how.

Growth

Since its founding, JUBECO has grown moderately to a current team of six employees - a company size that not only provides redundancy and broad expertise, but also relies on a team of long-time colleagues who are also personal friends. This creates an extraordinarily high level of trust among customers, in contrast to competitors who pursue rapid growth at the risk of new employees not being able to justify the expected level of trust.
